OMAHA AAA HOCKEY CLUB: Omaha Hockey Club’s U18 team dropped its best-of-three series against Russell Stover in the USA Hockey Midwest Regional Championships in Overland Park, Kan. Omaha lost Game 1 in double-overtime, 4-3, and Game 2, 5-1.
SOUTHERN CALFORNIA TITANS: The Southern California Titans’ U18 team finished runner-up in the California state championships, but still qualified for the Pacific Districts (the top two teams in the state advance), which will be held from March 18-21 in San Jose. One team from Districts will advance to the USA Hockey National Championships.
